Kinki Volume:75CL flowers and roots prepared byKinki is a light, chillable red from a single old vineyard in Cobrana, in the cool, high part of Bierzo. The vines are 90100 years old and mixed planted, with mostly Menca and a good portion of local white grapes like Doa Blanca, Godello and Palomino, plus a few rare red varieties. They grow on a striking mix of very degraded blue slate and red clay at 750 metres, giving the wine a clear, lively character. The grapes are fermented as whole bunches,
