The obverse features an image of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding father of Pakistan while the reverse has the State Bank of Pakistan building. This note has Urdu as well as Bangla script indicating that this was printed before 1971. This was the first 500 rupee note to be printed in Pakistan this particular issue ran from 1964 71.
